<h2>About the Role</h2>
<p>Join the continued build-out of a production-grade surplus lines platform — a system already handling real policy processing, compliance workflows, and reporting for an active business. This isn't a greenfield project or a maintenance gig: you'll step into a complex, live system, understand its workflows quickly, and independently own solutions across the full stack. If you're a strong engineer first — comfortable across frontend, backend, and workflow orchestration — this is a long-term engagement with real technical depth.</p>
<h2>What You'll Do</h2>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Design, develop, and maintain full-stack application features across frontend and backend systems</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Build and support integrations with third-party systems and APIs</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Develop workflow-driven processes using Temporal</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Build scalable APIs and backend services using Python</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Maintain and optimize relational databases using PostgreSQL</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Develop reporting and analytics capabilities using charting libraries</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Contribute to AI-enabled features and integrations within the platform</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Participate in architecture discussions and help shape long-term technical direction</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h2>What You Bring</h2>
<ul>
<li>
<p>7+ years of full stack software engineering experience</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong proficiency in Python, with solid backend API development experience</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong frontend experience with modern web frameworks</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Proven experience designing and building scalable applications with sound architecture</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Hands-on experience with Temporal and workflow orchestration patterns</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Familiarity with asynchronous processing and event-driven systems</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong PostgreSQL, SQL, and data modeling experience</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience building reporting dashboards using charting libraries such as Chart.js, D3.js, or Plotly</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and cloud environments</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong English communication skills, with availability during U.S. business hours</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h2>Nice to Have</h2>

<p>Experience in insurance, surplus lines, or compliance-based applications</p>
